W latach 1707-1715 prowadził z bratem Henri Abraham Châtelain (1684-1743) spółkę jako "Frères Châtelain Libraires", w latach 1706-1726 działał z François l'Honoré jako "François L'Honoré et compagnie", od 1752 ze swym synem Henri Jedis jako "Z. Chatelain et fils".
